• Longer life                                                                                                                                                            High efficiency particulate air filter (HEPA) is an absolute filter and is integral part of CLEAN ROOM. It is made out of borosilicate microfibers paper assembled in aluminum housing .A good resin bonding ensures no bypass of air between media and frame. These are available in EU-11, EU12, EU13, EU14 grade having minimum efficiency of 99.97% down to 0.3 micron. Standard depth is 150 and 300 mm.Other sizes are also made as per order.

• Flat-Paneled Fiberglass Filters – When it comes to MERV ratings, this disposable type of HVAC filter is at the lowest end, meaning it’s ineffective at improving your indoor air quality despite being able to trap dust and debris. However, due to its affordability, it’s a popular HVAC air filter choice.

  Pleated Media Filter – The pleated media filter has a MERV rating between 5 and 13, meaning it can trap mold spores and pet dander. The pleats are designed to increase the filter’s surface area and increase its efficiency. It’s air filtration efficiency is still quite low, however, though it does provide less airflow resistance and can suppress fan noise.

  HEPA Filter – HVAC replacement companies often recommend HEPA filters since they can provide the highest protection level when it comes to airborne particles. This type of filter is capable of capturing small microns, and also has a MERV rating between 17 and 20, meaning it can trap tobacco smoke and bacteria. However, installing it is no easy feat, as modifications from a contractor will likely be required for it to work with your HVAC system

  Reusable Air Filters – Reusable air filters can be washed for continued use, making a complete replacement unnecessary. However, they do have a low MERV rating–between 1 and 4–and can also attract mold and mildew growth if installed before completely dry.

HEPA Stands for High Efficiency Particulate Absorber. To qualify for a fiber to be HEPA it must remove 99.97% of particle size greater than or equals to 0.3 micron. Suitable for use as a filter grades H13 and H14 of EN1822 and ISO Class 5 operation as per ISO 14644.

HEPA is a type of pleated mechanical air filter. It is an acronym for "high efficiency particulate air [filter]" (as officially defined by the U.S. Dept. of Energy).  This type of air filter can theoretically remove at least 99.97% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, and any airborne particles with a size of   responds to the worst case; the most penetrating particle size (MPPS). Particles that are larger or smaller are trapped with even higher efficiency. Using the worst case particle size results in the worst case efficiency rating (i.e. 99.97% or better for all particle sizes).

All air cleaners require periodic cleaning and filter replacement to function properly.  Follow manufacturer's recommendations on maintenance and replacement.

Minimum Efficiency Reporting Values, or MERVs, report a filter's ability to capture larger particles between 0.3 and 10 microns (µm). 

• This value is helpful in comparing the performance of different filters
• The rating is derived from a test method developed by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE)
